Our Director
Karly has 11 years experience in the industry and is currently studying her Bachelor of Early Childhood. She has worked with Kool Kids for 3½ years.
Karly has signed a non-negotiable agreement which states the standards Kool Kids Ashmore must adhere to. This ensures that your centre is maintained at the highest standard. All Kool Kids Early Learning Centres are mystery shopped quarterly to ensure these standards are adhered to at all times.
Carer qualifications
All carers at the centre are well qualified and experienced to work with the children. Our Group Leaders in the centre are required to hold a Diploma in Childcare or equivalent and all assistants either hold a Certificate in Childcare or are studying towards a Certificate or Diploma of Childcare.
It is a policy of the program that all carers are trained in First Aid and CPR procedures before commencement of employment and are required to attend refresher courses on CPR every 12 months and in First Aid every 3 years. This includes holding a current Blue Card (working with children check) which is updated every two years.
Carers are regularly sent to in-service training throughout the year to keep abreast of any happenings within the industry and to up-date any of their skills. Records of any training the staff undertake are available in the office.
