Our Director

Tracey’s child care career commenced as an assistant in Sydney in 1991. Her love of children then progressed over the years motivating her to gain the skills and qualifications required to step into a group leaders position then to Director and into Management.

She has also worked within the school system with after school care and vacation care as well as managing a kids club for a corporate company. This experience has also led Tracey in the fields of working with behaviourally challenged children from 15 months to 12 years as well as with children at risk in the community supporting homeless families and families in need.

Tracey has an Advanced Diploma in Child Care, blue card, disability blue card and senior first aid.

Tracey has signed a non-negotiable agreement which states the standards Kool Kids Miami must adhere to. This ensures that your centre is maintained at the highest standard. All Kool Kids Early Learning Centres are mystery shopped quarterly to ensure these standards are adhered to at all times.

Educator qualifications

All of Kool Kids Miami educators have been here for a lengthy period of time, up to seven years.

All educators hold a relevant and approved child care qualification depending on the position they currently hold. Group Leaders have or are currently studying towards gaining their Diploma in Child Care. All assistants have or are studying to gain their Certificate III in Child Care. Several educators are currently studying to improve their qualifications and knowledge.

It is centre policy that all educators are trained in first aid and CPR procedures before commencement of employment and are required to attend refresher courses on CPR every 12 months and in First Aid every three years. Educators are also required to have a Blue Card (working with children check), before being employed.

Educators are regularly sent to in-service training throughout the year to keep up to date with changes within the industry and to enhance their professional development.
