We believe the first five years of a child's life is very important as this is an age when children are developing rapidly across intellectual, social, emotional and physical areas. Through educational goal based programs that encourage exploration and experimentation we aim to nurture and promote this development as well as provide the children in our care with a safe and secure environment where there is acceptance, respect, caring and encouragement

We consider the family to be the first and most important formative influence in their child's life and as such we strive to promote strong relations with our families, encouraging their involvement in our programs, routines and policy development.  Kool Kids Edu-Care Centre and Preschool is a family orientated community resource aiming to benefit not only the children but also the family, by providing them with educational and supportive resources as well as links to other community services to help them in their important job as parents.

In relation to our children:
1. To develop and maintain a play based curriculum which supports, develops and extends the needs and interests of the children,
2. To provide play based programs that support the development of the 'whole child',
3. To provide a physically safe and emotionally secure environment where children learn and have fun,
4. To encourage children's awareness and respect of cultures and special needs.

In relation to our families:
1. To develop and maintain positive staff-family relations through collaborative practices and the promotion of an 'open-door' policy,
2. To provide a community service that benefits both children and families,
3. To respect the cultural, social and special needs background of each child and family,
4. To provide a link between families and other community services.

In relation to our staff, management aim to:
1. Promote positive relations in a teamwork environment, -
2. Provide opportunities for staff to keep up to date with our evolving industry through attendance at workshops, seminars and conferences,
3. Promote professional development through encouraging our staff to continue their education regarding early childhood education.

In relation to the community:
1. We aim to network with other community services to enable us to provide useful links to our families,
2. We aim to be recognized as an educational and supportive resource for the community.
