Why a second language?
For some time I have seen the need to further enhance our learning programmes by introducing a second language to our centres, thus ensuring the growth of our children and a strong transition to full time school.
Young children have an enormous capacity to take in information and process it, this far more effectively than adults do, we see it every day in our centres. When a new family starts with us from another country, within three to four months their child is communicating in English! This is something that most of us adults have to study hard to do.
A second language taught from a very early age will always help stimulate a child’s learning capacity and trigger new areas of mind development along with giving them the building blocks to help grow and understand a second culture.
Kool Kids is introducing the GENKI Japanese language curriculum, that involves stimulation and education of the Japanese language using colour, movement and sound, and our programme will be delivered by Hiromi Koike Sensei whom is a fully qualified English speaking childcare / teacher.
