Child Protection Statement of Commitment<\/h2>\n

At G8 Education, we are committed to ensuring the safety, protection and wellbeing of all children by providing child-safe environments where every child is respected, valued, supported and nurtured to grow, thrive and learn.<\/p>\n

G8 Education upholds the National Child Safe Principles which guide our commitment to embedding a culture of child safety and wellbeing in all aspects of our operations.<\/p>\n

In all decisions and actions, the rights, safety and best interests of children are paramount and will be prioritised over organisational, operational or financial considerations.<\/p>\n

We have zero tolerance for child abuse, harm or neglect and are committed to being a Child Safe Organisation. Child Protection and Safeguarding Policy<\/h2>\n

This policy defines our collective, organisational commitment to child protection and safeguarding. It clearly explains the responsibilities and obligations of all team members, students, and contractors employed by G8 Education.<\/p>\n

This policy provides the framework for our approach to the implementation of the National Principles for Child Safe Organisations<\/a> and state-based requirements, including the Child Safe Standards across New South Wales<\/a>, Victoria<\/a>, the Australian Capital Territory<\/a> and Queensland<\/a>, in addition to Working with Children Check legislation.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n

Code of Conduct<\/h2>\n

At G8 Education, we are helping shape the lives and minds of young children every day, championing early learning in the first five years through innovative and evidence-based care and teaching methods. With a clear purpose of nurturing the greatness in every child to grow, thrive and learn, we are committed to becoming the leading provider of quality early childhood education and care.<\/p>\n

Our families trust us to provide high-quality care and education for their children. We recognise that building and retaining trust depends on the ethical and responsible behaviours, conduct and ways of working of our team members. Our Code sets the standard and provides guiding principles of what behaviours, conduct and ways of working are expected at G8. This Code is reviewed annually by the Board, and it may be updated when changes are made to G8\u2019s strategy to ensure that it is operating effectively and that it remains consistent with G8\u2019s core values.<\/p>\n

Our Code applies to all team members, including employees (permanent, temporary or casual), Board members, agency staff, contractors, volunteers and students.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n

Our Child Safe Organisation Framework<\/h2>\n

Our Child Safe Organisation Framework demonstrates our commitment to, and implementation of, the Child Safe Standards and National Principles for Child Safe Organisations.<\/p>\n

All centres across G8 Education implement and embed the 4 Child Safe Pillars, which are underpinned by the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), in addition to the legislation and regulations of the states in which we operate.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n
