Welcome to Kool Kids Pacific Pines. Our 2 childcare centres are located right next to each other in central Pacific Pines, adjacent to Coles.
We offer flexible hours of care and education for children from birth to six years. Our focus is on inspiring your child’s imagination through a variety of play-based early learning programs and we are proud offer care that is specifically tailored to suit different age groups in each of our buildings.
We also provide plenty of opportunities for your child to thrive in a natural environment. These include a beautiful veggie garden, inviting outdoor learning environments and our gorgeous pet guinea pigs and birds.
Whether we are making the ocean and its animals come to life in our interactive iSandbox, focusing on finding our Zen during a relaxing Yoga session, or learning about language and culture with our very own Japanese Program; every day is promised to be full of laughter and fun here at Kool Kids Pacific Pines.

We always search for innovative ways to develop important skills. Our interactive iSandbox, for example, is an exciting new technology that opens a world of possibilities where children discover music, texture and sound. This fantastic tool lets lava flow, oceans swirl, grass grow and bubbles blow!

Learning the Kool Kids way
At Kool Kids we embrace the concept that children’s learning and play is interrelated. Our educational program follows what is laid out in the Government’s Early Years Learning Framework. It encourages children to explore concepts of literacy, numeracy and social engagement through their personal interests.
We also offer a Queensland Government Approved Kindergarten Program, which is taught by Bachelor-qualified teachers and focuses specifically on getting your child Big School Ready.

What is your favourite part of working at the centre?
I am passionate about delivering a high quality, diverse care environment and forming lasting relationships with the children and their families. I enjoy being able to share in the children’s milestones as they grow and develop. I also get satisfaction from being able to foster and mentor the staff and assist them in reaching their professional goals as they grow as educators in the childcare industry.
What qualifications do you hold?
Diploma in Children’s Services.
What are you most passionate about?
I am passionate about early childhood development and the children being provided with educationally rich programs.
What makes your team/centre special?
We offer a fun, safe, nurturing space where the children are able to explore, play and form relationships with carers and peers. We offer a clean well-resourced environment and have many extra- curricular activities available such as music, dance, Japanese lessons and tennis. All the staff are happy, friendly and welcoming and our families enjoy their time here with us.
What is one of your hobbies?
I enjoy spending time with my 2 small children and family.
What message would you like to tell parents considering your centre?
When you turn the handle and enter at Kool Kids Pacific Pines 2, know that you are entering into a caring, loving and safe environment. Consider yourself important, one of the unique, valued members of our Kool Kids family, who in every way belongs!!
Educator qualifications
All educators at the centre are well qualified and experienced to work with the children. Our Group Leaders in the centre are required to hold a Diploma in Childcare or equivalent and all assistants either hold a Certificate in Childcare or are studying towards a Certificate or Diploma of Childcare.
It is a policy of the program that all educators are trained in First Aid and CPR procedures before commencement of employment and are required to attend refresher courses on CPR every 12 months and in First Aid every 3 years. This includes holding a current Blue Card (working with children check) which is updated every two years.
Educator are regularly sent to in-service training throughout the year to keep abreast of any happenings within the industry and to up-date any of their skills. Records of any training the staff undertake are available in the office.

Future Champs
We have Future Champs in the centre every Friday. This program is conducted by a qualified physical trainer and incorporates physical exercise as well as discussion about nutrition and the way our body works. This program will be incorporated into our Senior Kindy and Preschool rooms, and a small additional fee will be added to your account each week to cover this if your child attends the centre on Fridays.
Tennis
Professional tennis lessons are available each Friday with a professional tennis coach. This activity is elective, and subject to availability and for children over three years of age. Additional charges apply for this activity.
Genki Japanese
Genki Japanese is Kool Kids’ own second language program, and is offered to children from Senior Kindy through to Preschool. It is run two days per week on Monday and Thursday. The Genki Japanese program is offered as part of program and is included in our daily fee charges.
Educational Children’s Shows
Each year we will organize a number of educational shows to come to Kool Kids Pacific Pines. We try to ensure that there is at least one show per month, and the cost of these is simply added to your account for that week if your child attends on the day of the show. Check our calendar of events for more information.
Shows vary from puppet shows, musical performances, magic shows, farm animals, storytelling, hands on experiences, multicultural shows and informative learning shows on various topics including dental hygiene.
Professional Photographs
We have a yearly booking for professional photographs for each individual child and class photos.
Birthdays
We welcome the opportunity to be a part of your child’s birthday celebrations. Birthdays are special times and the centre would love to share this time with your child. You may like to send a cake to be shared by your child’s group, to help celebrate the occasion.

“Finley has had a great start to Preschool1.He loves coming to Kindy to meet his friends and learn. He has absolutely loved the volcano topic…..and tells us everyday different facts.
He has learnt to ride a bike with confidence, he doesn’t entertain his bike at home so it was great to see him riding it outside last week.
He loves to sing the days of the week song, the jolly phonic song and all the other songs he has learnt since January.
Miss Sam and Miss Jess are superstars. Very approachable and gives feedback on a daily basis.I love the sign in sheets as it reached Finly to write his name. He is very familiar with the class rules and timetable.
