On hot summer days, there’s nothing better than a smoothie, and one Kool Kids favourite is Karla’s strawberry oats smoothie.
Easy to whip up in any blender, and perfect for those moments when you need a quick, nutritious snack, the frozen fruits in this smoothie make for a delicious consistency – and the oats keep little tummies fuller for longer!

Makes 5 serves of 150ml smoothies
1 litre milk
3/4 cup of oats
1 cup frozen strawberries
2 medium bananas (frozen is better)
1 tsp cinnamon
2 tbs honey (optional)
- Place all ingredients in a blender, adding in a couple of handfuls of ice if desired and blend until smooth.
- Pour into individual cups of 150ml each.
