Our Early Learning Environments

Kool Kids Miami provides a nurturing and enriching early learning environment that fosters exploration and curiosity.

The outdoor environments at our Miami child care centre include a large climbing fort, sandpit, vegetable garden and more. Our outdoor learning program focuses on the development of your child’s strength, balance, and self-confidence.

Our indoor learning spaces offer a variety of engaging resources including iSandbox, an interactive tool exclusive to Kool Kids that inspires imaginative play and fosters language development for children to learn and grow. Our experienced educators and teachers use these to design various age-appropriate play-based experiences.

Longstanding, multicultural team of Educators and Teachers

At the heart of our early learning centre in Miami is our longstanding team of early childhood educators and teachers, with some team members at the centre for over 15 years. We are a multicultural early learning centre, with educators proficient in multiple languages, including Chinese, Japanese, Spanish and Portuguese.

Our team of dedicated and qualified early childhood teachers and educators are committed to ensuring every child feels safe, nurtured, and inspired throughout their early education journey.

Health and Nutrition

Our Miami child care centre provides children with nutritious, unprocessed, and seasonal whole foods. Our menu rotates weekly to cater to diverse dietary requirements. We actively involve children in food preparation to promote healthy eating.

My early learning journey began in 2006. I hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care. I am passionate about quality care, education, and children’s development. From a young age, I knew I wanted to work with children and positively impact their lives. Watching children grow while supporting and guiding them through their developmental stages has been incredibly rewarding.

Throughout my career in early childhood education, I have learned that children learn at their own pace and flourish in environments where they feel safe, secure, and supported. This belief guides my teaching style, emphasizing the importance of creating a nurturing and supportive space for every child.

I am dedicated to implementing engaging activities and spaces that encourage children’s natural dispositions for learning, such as curiosity, confidence, creativity, imagination, enthusiasm, and persistence. By taking the time to understand each child’s needs and interests, I scaffold their learning experiences to help them achieve their goals.

An early childhood education and care centre offers a structured environment with a curriculum designed to promote various developmental areas, providing consistency and routine that help children feel secure. Our centre fosters social skills through peer interaction, encouraging children to develop the skills to share, cooperate, and communicate.

Kool Kids Miami is a small, 75-place centre with four rooms: Nursery, Toddlers, Junior Kindy, and Kindergarten. Our long-standing team, comprised of diverse cultural backgrounds, has grown and developed together, providing quality care and consistency to many families in the area. We pride ourselves on offering high-quality care and education.

Our relationships with families are built on trust and open communication. We work in partnership with families to provide the best possible outcomes for the children in our care. I look forward to welcoming you to our centre and working together to support your child’s development and well-being.

At Kool Kids Miami child care centre, we recognise the importance of play in a child’s learning and development journey. Our team tailors play-based learning activities in line with national standards, specifically the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), helping prepare them for kindergarten and school readiness.

We also offer the following enriching learning experiences:

  • Sustainability Program: Helps children develop and understand the importance of embedding sustainable practices into everyday life. Children learn about recycling, conserving water, growing food and the importance of protecting our planet.
  • Community Engagement Program: Encourages children to interact with and discover their local community. We often have visits from community services, and we go out on adventures to teach the children about their local environment.
  • Sports Program: Allows the children to be active and learn about different sports and movements.
  • Music & Movement Program: Designed to develop fundamental skills that help support children’s self-regulation, memory, and concentration. Children learn to appreciate and develop an understanding of music – and of course, have fun.

Our Kindergarten programs are tailored to meet your child’s individual learning needs across numeracy, literacy, emotional and social development, resilience, and self-regulation.

We offer a QLD Government-approved Kindergarten enhanced learning program, supporting your child’s development and well-being from now, at school and beyond. If eligible, your child will be able to participate in the Government-approved Kindergarten program, at no cost, up to 15 hours per week, 40 weeks per year. While we understand that this can be inconvenient, Kool Kids is committed to maintaining a healthy environment and reducing the risk of infection for all children.

Under the Child Care Subsidy (CCS), families are allowed 42 absence days per child, per financial year. These can be taken for any reason, including public holidays and when children are sick, without the need for families to provide documentation.
